As the Business Development Manager, you’ll look at the “what else” for our organization.  Outside of the core Ultra business- this position will identity and develop other growth opportunities related to distribution and channel development—focusing on driving incremental volume for the business through non-traditional channels (outside Indirect and national retail).

  • Identify and develop new distribution opportunities to include online partners, affinity, INTL, etc.
  • Will include managing a sales funnel: identifying the opportunity, qualifying leads, contractual negotiations, to launch
  • For more involved projects will also require project management function
  • On-going account management in the early stages of accounts to support channel growth
  • Analyze account data and provide timely reports to support your account’s growth plan.
  • Ensure your accounts are producing and identify areas of needed improvement &/or opportunities for growth.
  • Help train and educate accounts on new product offerings, services, program enhancements, etc. 
  • Conduct weekly account review calls.
  • Report on key competitive issues, suggest improvements, and communicate regularly with Ultra management. 
  • Responsible for growing market share, with a heavy emphasis on Gross Add and key metric attainment, forecasting, planning and marketing to ensure maximum brand awareness and our mutual success. 
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours and participate in evening and weekend events, conference calls, etc. as needed.
  • Some overnight travel is required.
  • College degree preferred with 3+ years of account management experience within wireless. 
  • Prior success meeting performance goals in the wireless industry or related.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical skills required - data-analysis.
  • Results driven.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and problem solve.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a growing organization.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and 24-hour access to a vehicle required.
